4th Annual CATIE Awards

The CATIE Awards were instituted by I.E. Canada to recognize and celebrate Canadian trade accomplishments through the companies and individuals who demonstrate trade excellence and make a difference in customs and compliance.

I.E. Canada is now accepting nominations for the following awards:

  •  Trade Compliance Leadership Award 
    To recognize a Canadian customs compliance and trade professional who has been providing leadership, innovation and advocacy on behalf of their own company and other importers and exporters in Canada.
  • Best Practices in Trade Compliance Processes Award
    To recognize the corporate accomplishment of implementing new processes intended to improve trade efficiencies or trade compliance.
  • Greening of the Supply Chain
    To recognize a Canadian company that has initiated, implemented and proven corporate commitment to the greening of the supply chain and reducing their carbon footprint.
  • Beth Travis Memorial – Member of the Year
    To recognize an outstanding I.E. Canada member who represents the spirit of the Association: to be the leading voice of the Canadian trade community and to represent and advocate on behalf of importers and exporters to influence change.

CATIE award applications for 2012 are now open. Closing date for nominations has been extended until August 10, 2012.

The Gala Reception and Awards Dinner will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. Just imagine what an honour it would be for you and your colleagues to participate with other industry professionals at this year’s awards celebration!
