Winners of the 2017 CSCB Scholarships!

The CSCB Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the winners of the CSCB Guy Graveline and CSCB National Scholarships for 2017.

Mr. Michael Karabinis-Guy, son of Patrick Guy of Mantoria Inc., Westmount, Quebec has been awarded the Guy Graveline Scholarship.

Michael has just completed Dawson CEGEP Justice studies and has been accepted to McGill University, Faculty of Arts to pursue a bachelor degree. In addition to his outstanding academic record, Michael is extremely interested in politics, and is active in our political system. Michael also has demonstrated his leadership skills through his team sports. Ultimately, Michael would like to represent Canada as an Ambassador.

Mr. Jeffrey Ho, son of Catherine Lau of UPS-Supply Chain Services, Richmond, British Columbia has been awarded the CSCB National Scholarship.

In addition to a most impressive secondary school academic record, Jeffrey was also awarded the Governor General’s Bronze Medal for his academic achievement. Jeffrey’s volunteerism activities range from peer tutoring, organizing food drives, and working with youth as a camp counsellor. Jeffrey will attend the University of British Columbia and aspires to become a physician.

Congratulations to Michael and Jeffrey! The CSCB is proud to have been able to play a part in your ongoing education.

The committee would also like to extend its congratulations to all applicants. From coast to coast, the applicants were all exceptional young adults and it has been our privilege to review their applications.
