CCS Recognized Events - 2010
Please make sure an event is approved for CCS points before submitting proof of attendance to the CSCB. All proof of attendance forms must be signed by an event representative. It is recommended to submit your form as soon as you attend the event.
Before an event can be approved for CCS points, it must be of at least three hours duration. Points are awarded only once for events attended on multiple occasions. Events are approved on specific days and locations; events with the same title are not necessarily approved for different locations or dates. Please check with the CSCB national office if the event you wish to attend is not on the list of approved events, but has been approved at another time and location.
Points will NOT be awarded for attending the following CBSA seminars:
- Small Business seminar for new importers and exporters
- Customs Information seminar for new importers and exporters
- Importing Basics
- New importer/exporter seminar
- How to complete forms B2 and B3
- Clearing Commercial Goods
